Thanks to a very generous donation from Martin, Sarah & Jemma Dwyer here in Manchester enabling us to buy a new pregnant cow last May 2011. The cow named Happy Daze by the Dywer Family has produced her 2nd healthy female calf this morning.
Celebrations all round as a female calf is worth her weight in gold as in time she will become fertile, produce a calf and milk which is an expensive commodity in Kenya and with 58 hungry mouthes to feed is a massive help to us.
So a Massive Asante Sana to The Dwyer Family from everyone @ The GLO xx

Asante sana Dwyer family for your donation of the cow at Glo which give the children milk as purchasing milk here in Kenya is expensive, and for the 58 children it could be so difficult to enough milk for them.
