2019 is finally here and we are ready for the new challenges. I look back on how 2018 was and I am obliged to say we had a nice year with quite a good number of lessons to carry to 2019. As an institution, we have great plans which will need a lot of commitment and dedication from each and every individual in all the departments and above all, pray to the Almighty God to guide as through.
Having started my new role as the Operations Manager since November last year, I can confess that it’s been a challenging position but I am grateful for the support I get on daily basis from our Directors, Trustees, fellow staff and also our beneficiaries. Before I started my new role, I was a little bit anxious and had my worries but now I can hold my head up and say, “I am very privileged to be part of such an amazing projectâ€. The support and treatment I get is exceptional!!
Towards the end of 2018, we had a good number of meetings to come up with our 2019 aspirations. I will therefore highlight each of these plans according to the different departments in the next blog as there are major changes afoot at The GLO as we continue to grow and diversify to meet the day to day challenges we face here in Kenya.
We know it’s going to be a long year as we need a lot of resources to accomplish all the plans we have made but with the right support from wonderful and generous people out there, we know we shall make it. Also let me not forget the commitment and dedication from all our staff, I am very grateful. God bless our plans and all those who are behind us.
